My Brother Got an iPhone

My brother picked up the new 3G iPhone yesterday, the 8 GB version.  The thing is pretty slick, I kinda want one, considering I’ve been wanting a mp3 player AND a new phone.  The new appstore is sweet. There are a bunch of free apps.  He downloaded the AIM app, which lacked the ability to type with the keyboad in widescreen mode like safari does (from what I’ve seen, safari is the only app that does this), and a lightsaber app - basicly it uses the sensor in the iphone to detect motion and it replicates the sounds of a lightsaber!  That app alone is worth the purchase in my opinion!

I find it kinda difficult to type with the iPhone, so if I think I’d like a physical keyboard if I decide to get one of these smartphones.  Two phones that look promising are the Diamond Touch Pro or the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.   One thing I don’t like is lack of memory on both phones, but they are expandable though micoSD.  Meh, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see how they turn out.

One Armed Pull up Progress - Week 4 - Goal Completed

That’s right biotches!  I can do one armed pull ups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I’ll try and get some video of it the next time my brother comes with me to the gym so the 3 people who occasionally read my blog can be amazed at the uncanny strength I posses in  my back muscles.

I decided to see how my progress was going by attempting a one armed pull by checking how far I could get up.  To my suprise, I went all the way up.  I ended up doing 3 sets of 1 rep on each side, mixing in the sets with my chest workout and some other light back work.  I didn’t think I could do more than one rep nor did I try. I’ll try and max out next week maybe, but I doubt I’ll get more then 2, one is hard enough.

Shit, I can’t beleive it only took me 4 weeks to build enough strenght to do one armed pull ups.  Other than handstand clap push ups, I’m going to need another goal to show some ridiculous feats of stength.  Any suggestions?
